Technology Group Solutions delivers IT services to clients of all shapes and sizes — but the work starts with relationships, not specs. We put people before profits and value relationships more than returns.

Our mission has always been to meet the needs of everyone around us — from ourselves to our customers and the wider community. We aren't tech-savvy for the sake of being tech-savvy. We focus on creating an individualized IT plan based on the needs of each customer through our consultative approach.

These guiding principles are the foundations upon which we do business across four offices, with over 80 employees. We were founded over 15 years ago and have grown to service most of the Midwest. And we're not stopping anytime soon.

Lenora Payne

Founder & CEO

Lenora founded TGS in 2005 on a belief in full-spectrum IT delivered with integrity and a customer-centric philosophy. With more than 30 years in IT — including senior roles at GE Capital ITS and MicroAge — she has led TGS to dozens of awards, and is a member of the KCBJ Women Who Mean Business class of 2021.
Doug Floersch

Co-founder & CTO

A founding member of TGS with more than 26 years in IT, Doug's background spans data center, networking, and enterprise architecture. He has helped lead TGS to $140M in revenue and recognition among Kansas City's fastest-growing businesses. A born-and-raised Kansas Citian — and avid Royals and Chiefs fan.
Bert Soto

Chief Diversity Officer & VP of Sales

Bert brings 30 years across telecom, networking, and data center. He led sales and strategy at Gluware, 6WIND, and Ciena, drove Cisco engagements with one of the world's largest mobile carriers, and began his career planning and deploying networks at AT&T.
Robert Binckley

VP of Services

Robert leads TGS's services organization — solutions architecture, consulting and professional services, managed services, and internal IT. He has spent 26 years in IT after beginning in commercial banking, most recently as Director of Technology Assurance for a large regional Kansas City bank.
Dr. Matthew Miller

Director of Managed Services

After more than 25 years in public education as a teacher, principal, and superintendent, Dr. Miller brought his talent for aligning people, processes, and purpose to IT. He joined TGS as a Technical Account Manager and now leads the Managed Services team with a focus on clarity, collaboration, and customer outcomes.
Nazrin Sadikhova

Director of Sales

A trained actuary and Roosevelt University graduate, Nazrin launched her IT career at Cisco solving infrastructure challenges for Oil & Gas clients, then honed her channel expertise in IT distribution — where she first helped TGS build its Cisco practice in 2015. A decade later, she drives the success and growth of TGS's sales organization.
Dustin Holub

Director of Solutions Architecture

Dustin's technology journey began with King's Quest and burning CDs for friends — and evolved through system administration, product management, and lead R&D architecture across enterprise data centers. An early advocate for public cloud and DevOps, his expertise spans AWS, Azure, automation, and generative AI. He leads TGS's architects in designing solutions aligned with client goals, outcomes, and constraints.

TGS began with a mission to deliver reliable technology with real-world impact. Over the years, we've grown from hardware fulfillment into a full-stack IT partner.

2005

TGS launched as a trusted IT company — founded on delivering reliable technology with real-world impact, and putting the customer first.
2006–08

Value-added reseller product fulfillment. Laid the foundation by delivering trusted product fulfillment, helping businesses access the essential technology they needed to grow.
2008–14

Expansion into implementation and field services — moving beyond fulfillment to designing, deploying, and supporting the technology we delivered.
2015–17

Consulting and managed services became our core focus, completing the shift from hardware fulfillment to a full-stack IT partner.
2018–Now

Cloud services, digital transformation, and the AI roadmap — helping customers modernize, secure, and prepare their environments for what's next.

Engineering, Procurement, Consulting, and Construction Company

What started originally as a project to accelerate the deployment of next-generation technology led into a health check and consulting services for the sunsetting of a long-term outsourcing data center agreement, and finally the data center migration from Oklahoma to Illinois. We installed, configured, and deployed the new HW newly hosted DC in Illinois and migrated hundreds of mission-critical and business-critical workloads from Oklahoma DC to Illinois DC. TGS performs quarterly health checks to assure the health and safety of the environment, and that ongoing peak performance is achieved.

Major Transportation Corporation

TGS worked with a large enterprise customer on a firewall conversion project, from Palo Alto Networks Firewall to a Cisco Firepower NGFW. We converted the firewall rules, removed unused policies, and implemented new policies according to best practices, in order to better secure and optimize their infrastructure. Previously, our customer struggled for many months to come up with an acceptable migration and conversion strategy at a reasonably affordable price. They found their efforts leading to cost-prohibitive consulting engagements or unreliable and inefficient OEM tools. Our security engineering team purpose-built a migration solution and completed the project in less than 60 days.

Major US Wireless Carrier

TGS specialized its retail store system integration, kitting, delivery, and implementation. We provided the delivery and installation of printers, phones systems, access points, point of sale terminals, wireless LAN controller, and routers. All products were delivered to the TGS system integration facility, configured, asset tagged, recorded, and fully integrated. Each store then received the technology in a single package with full installation instructions for easy, on-site deployment.

Major Sporting Franchise

TGS led a DC redesign and overhauled digital capabilities as well as helped our client migrate from legacy-tiered to hyper-converged infrastructure using VMware vSAN.

Not-for-Profit Research Center

TGS upgraded the data center storage and refreshed overall technology capabilities.

Commercial Real Estate Management Company

We engineered, deployed, and managed wired, wireless, voice, and E911 networks — as well as providing surveillance and security measures and implementing data center protocols.
